Overview

The Compass EMP Funds provides multi-asset alternative mutual funds. The Compass EMP Funds seek to capitalize on significant rising or declining market conditions. The rules-based asset allocation methodology is designed to provide diversification among many asset classes, markets and economies around the world. The Funds have an emphasis on alternative asset classes compared to traditional stock and bond portfolios.

Investment Philosophy

Compass EMP believes that asset allocation among many low correlating assets is the key to improving risk adjusted returns over traditional stock and bond portfolios. Markets and asset classes have made significant price increases and decreases over time. Therefore, our philosophy is to equally diversify markets and asset classes while taking advantage of upward or downward trending markets.

Compass EMP Funds provides diversified alternative asset allocation models through the following mutual funds:

Compass EMP Multi-Asset Balanced Fund
Compass EMP Multi-Asset Growth Fund
Compass EMP Alternative Strategies Fund

The Compass EMP Multi-Asset Growth Fund and Compass EMP Multi-Asset Balanced Fund, or a combination thereof, is typically used as a core portfolio due to its vast amount of asset class diversification.

The Compass EMP Alternative Strategies Fund is commonly used as a comprehensive alternative to traditional stocks and bonds in an attempt to reduce portfolio volatility.

The fund’s performance is not designed to track any specific market or index over any given time frame.
